The First Hats

In the IKS course, we explored the earliest hats. For this, we built a timeline with oversized exhibits that visitors could step under.

The three models represent the three earliest known hats, while other interesting mentions can be found along the timeline. To standardize the spacing between the hats, folds were included on the timeline to symbolize compression.

My main tasks included designing and building the models, illustrating half of the hats, designing the layout for two models, and creating the film.
